Description:
This paper is a synthesis piece intended to highlight the role housing plays as both a determinant and an outcome of poverty and exclusion. It is based primarily on research by Stuart Sykes of the PRI and input received at a joint roundtable held by the PRI and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) in October 2004.
