Some training topics were created by the University of South Florida and are free of charge; other topics were created by Netsmart Technologies and are fee based. Free courses include:

• Florida mental health law
• Co-Occurring Disorders Training Series—This training series offers a comprehensive overview for counselors on topics related to assessing and treating persons with co-occurring disorders, including adolescents, older adults, people involved in the criminal justice system, and women. The training also covers development of a continuum of care.
• Functional Assessment Rating Scale (FARS) Training and Certification System
• Children's Functional Assessment Rating Scale (CFARS) Training and Certification System

Continuing education units are available.
