Canada's Drug Strategy: Reducing the Harm Associated With Injection Drug Use in Canada

This paper deals with National trends in the use of Injection drugs, and the National plan to deal with them. Homeless people are at increased risk of using injection drugs, of using them in a harmful manner (i.e. at increased risk of contracting HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis B) and are the ones least in position to obtain proper treatment. While this document doesn't deal specifically with the homeless situation, they are definitely touched by the issues in this document. (HRDC-2001)
