This article presents vignettes of two homeless Jewish women in Washington, DC. The author provides information on Washington-area programs which help the Jewish poor, and quotes rabbis and leaders of other Jewish organizations on their views about the extent of homelessness among this population and what the Jewish community can do to address the problem.
