This short video captures what it's like for thousands of young Canadians that are homeless but shows that almost none of them were born that way. Some come from abusive environments and broken homes. Others were driven to the street by mental illness. Many were forced to leave home when they came out as LGBT. Every homeless youth has a past. The Home Depot Canada Foundation has created the initiative Orange Door Project to support and repair projects that benefit homeless youth and helps give them a future.
