A place to call home : Edmonton's 10 year plan to end homelessness: update year 3

- 1,237 permanent homes secured for 1,789 people who had been homeless.

- 85% of people who have been housed have retained their housing – including the 464 households graduated from Housing first.

- 319 newly constructed units have been completed or are under construction.

- 11 Housing First Teams continue to locate housing and provide onsite support services for homeless persons including the first Aboriginal Housing First team. Between 300 and 600 homeless Edmontonians have intensive needs. The Study of the Homeless in Edmonton with Intensive Needs showed that we require more housing to meet those diverse needs and we have to more effectively integrate housing and health services.
