Program Coordinator

Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager of Group-Based Care, the Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the group home. In addition to ensuring quality services for youth, the Coordinator will offer day to day support for staff including training and development. The Coordinator will also be required to monitor the referral processes as well as provide referrals to other resources within the agency and the community. The Coordinator will connect with community agencies, organizations and government agencies and forge partnerships to enhance the experience of youth in the programs.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in human services and at least three years experience in a supervisory role
  • Experience working with at-risk youth is essential
  • Current standard First Aid and CPR certification
  • Class 4 Drivers License within three months of employment
  • Recent Drivers Abstract and Liability Insurance
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Welfare Intervention Record Check
