The focus of this presentation is on homelessness as it relates to seniors living in Ontario. In seeking research information on this topic it became clear that much more research is required than is available. A recent research study by the University of Toronto entitled "Homeless Older Adults Research Project" was completed in November 2004 for the City of Toronto.i The findings of that research project will be referred to in this presentation. Next year CPC Ontario Division hopes to be able to provide more information on this topic as we are beginning a research project on homelessness of seniors living in rural and small town Ontario.
