Twelve students from the city's two Catholic high schools took a trip to Toronto recently and got a lesson on homelessness from those on the street.

A group of six students from Regiopolis Notre Dame and six students from Holy Cross took part in Street Retreat in Toronto November 16-17.

Students experienced homelessness through a guided walk and testimony of homeless people's personal stories at Sanctuary Ministries, explains Nadia Gundert, co-ordinator of Pastoral Services at RND.
