Two Years on From the Mass Evictions in Zimbabwe

It is now two years since the terrible evictions of poor families from their homes that occurred as part of the Zimbabwean government's Operation Murambatsvina (meaning 'sweep away the filth’). Despite the ongoing political and economic turmoil in Zimbabwe the poor communities that make up the Zimbabwe Homeless People’s Federation are making remarkable progress towards improving their living conditions. Making use of the invaluable donations from our voluntary supporters and donors such as the European Commission, Homeless International has been supporting this progress.
