Project Goals: - Increase skills, knowledge, and networking of front line social service providers who work with women who are homeless or who are at risk of homelessness in Campbell River and surrounding central-northern Vancouver Island communities - Gain knowledge directly from women and front line service providers about the unique barriers and challenges faced by women experiencing homelessness in small, rural, and remote communities - Substantively add to the body of knowledge about Canadian women facing homelessness in small, rural, and remote communities and raise awareness that homelessness is not primarily an urban issue
