Youth Homelessness in Australia 2006 is the first report from Counting The Homeless 2006. This project is a national data collection funded by the Australian Government in partnership with all state and territory governments. The report is for government policy makers, service providers and interested stakeholders. This report presents the main findings from the third national census of homeless school students and estimates the total number of homeless young people aged 12 to 18.
