The research team undertook the research on the systemic implications of homelessness in Cape Dorset. The research is based on the interviews and experiences of people in the community, tracing the synthesis implications for their well-being, including their ability to function effectively in school, to have privacy and healthy interpersonal relationships, and to develop self-esteem, acquired through opportunities to maintain their culture, and skills essential to both enjoying and surviving in a cold climate.
