The Center for Capacity Building provides training opportunities to homeless service providers and other resources to grow organization’s knowledge around homeless services.

The Center for Capacity Building (The Center) supports the Alliance’s mission to end the problem of homelessness by building the capacity of communities to respond to new and emerging challenges and opportunities. Our approach to capacity building is outcome-based, with a clear focus on having a measurable impact in communities.

Critical Success Factors in High Performing Rural Continuums of Care

The Alliance conducted in-depth interviews with representatives from four rural CoCs. Based on these interviews, the Alliance has identified five critical success factors for making progress toward ending homelessness, implementing Ten Year Plans, and meeting the housing and service needs of homeless families and individuals in rural areas.

Housing First Partnership and Accountability Matrix
