When More Satisfying and Supportive Relationships Increase Loneliness: The Social Worlds of People with Lived Experience of Homelessness

People experiencing homelessness can often have small and fragmented social networks. The resulting loneliness can severely impact the physical and mental health of this population and become a barrier to exiting homelessness successfully. 

This study examines the social networks of people with lived experience of homelessness and offers recommendations for how service providers can best support people exiting homelessness.
