The city's homeless will be better equipped to get back on their feet thanks to new Alberta ID cards in a first-of-its-kind program rolling out in the coming days. The province is set to unveil its new homeless ID program which will enable anyone without a fixed address, living on the street or in a shelter the chance to apply for a card.
