Building the Capital Partnership: Growing Housing Needs and Effective Edmonton Solutions.

With increasing homelessness in Edmonton attributed to the rapid economic growth and other factors, there was an associated shortage of affordable housing. A first principle in Edmonton’s Building Together, Low-Income and Special Needs Housing Strategy is: “Access to adequate and affordable housing is fundamental to the physical, economic and social wellbeing of individuals, families and communities”.
