Consultant Opportunity: Develop a London Community Plan to Address, Reduce and Prevent Youth Homelessness

The City of London is seeking Proposals from qualified Consultants to develop a community plan to address, reduce and prevent youth homelessness.

Reporting to the Manager, Homeless Prevention, the Consultant will consider the current response in London and identify the practices and resources needed to develop a youth focussed integrated community wide response aimed at addressing, reducing and preventing homelessness for this population. Through innovative consultation practices, the Consultant will provide evidence informed London focussed recommendations and outcomes from a Housing First philosophy.

London’s interest in developing a focussed plan for street involved youth and youth experiencing homelessness is identified as a direction under London’s Homeless Prevention System Implementation Plan. London’s Homeless Prevention System is a coordinated and integrated individual and family centred housing stability approach that is outcome focussed and designed to address, reduce and prevent homelessness in London.  Both London’s Homeless Prevention System Implementation Plan and the Request for Proposal can be found at:
